LOVE this. I bought the dried squid strips thinking they would make a nice addition to soups… not so much… but this is a wonderful use for them. This is very odd, but I really like them as a topping for steel cut oatmeal.

I think this recipe is great! I have made it many times and have always been satisfied with the results. The one recommendation I would make would be not soak the squid in the water as long because it gets really hard to chew. Though, overall it is a great recipe.
