thank you very much for sharing your koerean recipes, which I like so much.
I prepared the dak gomtang soup already several times with slight alterations and like it even more every time 🙂

I was just wondering how you cleaned the chicken beforehand? Just by rinsing it with water? Many thanks! I look forward to making this recipe 🙂

I’m home with 5 sick children and made this to help keep them hydrated. I’m keeping the vegetables and chicken bones on the back burner on low and just adding water as I go for a nice broth. This is so mild for their tummies, and the older children (and me) LOVE the dadaegi! I can’t wait to try some of your other recipes.

In reply to Jo.

I never throw them away! I like to mash them up with a teaspoon or so of salt, a teaspoon of korean chili powder, a tablespoon of sesame oil and a pinch of black pepper. I use this paste to dip the chicken from the soup in as I eat it. Or I save it to go with another dish- maybe as a dipping paste for fresh veggies etc.
